Elchin Akhundov was born in Baku, Azerbaijan on the 8th of September 1986.
In 2008 Mr. Akhundov graduated the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the field of General Economics (Accounting and Audit).
Mr. Akhundov has over 14+ years of experience in the business development of construction markets, evaluation of corporate internal controls including its corporate governance and accounting processes, and finance.
Mr. Akhundov initially joined the "Unico" family as a former Managing Director. Has been promoted to the CEO of the group of companies position since July 1, 2021.
Besides his native Azerbaijani language, Mr. Akhundov also speaks English, Turkish, Arab and Russian.
Mr. Akhundov is married and has 2 children.
