“UNICO” CJSC’s Civil Engineering Layout Laboratory was put into use at AZMIU

A new laboratory, a specialized engineering center and special auditoriums were made available within the framework of collaboration with the private sector at the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University (AZMIU). The project, which was implemented in accordance with the state’s strategic objectives regarding collaboration between universities and the private sector, has created new opportunities in the field of education and innovation at AZMIU.

We would like to note that the said cooperation with AzMIU, as well as our participation in the event held last week organized by the State Agency for Vocational Education, is the first stage of our series of events related to education, personnel development and youth support.

We participated in the event “The role of public-private partnership in personnel training for the construction sector”

On January 14, 2025, “The role of public-private partnership in personnel training in the construction sector” held at the Hilton hotel in Baku, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for Vocational Education and the Azerbaijan Office of the UN Global Compact.

Participating in the event, the director of PBA CSC, a subsidiary of “UNICO” CSC, Tusi Aliyev made a speech on “Expectations of the labor market” in the “Changing landscape of the construction sector” panel. In his speech, Tusi Aliyev touched on many issues such as the existing workforce in the field of construction and architecture, required positions and qualifications, deficiencies in candidate personnel, workers studying in vocational schools and their qualification quality.

The main purpose of the event, which was attended by a number of state institutions and private companies and discussed the main topic, is to further expand the steps taken in the direction of the creation of new vocational educational institutions and the modernization of the existing ones in our country in recent years.

“UNICO” as a group of companies always supports the strengthening of the personnel potential of our country, and we are happy to go along with the decisions made by the relevant state institutions on the development of personnel in the construction, architecture, production sectors, as well as in any field where our company group operates.

We would like to note that every year we pay special attention to the issues of improving the qualifications of our existing personnel, as well as to the issues of creating conditions for young people who want to build a career in the relevant sectors. Periodically participating in labor fairs, announcing internship programs at different times of the year, and also holding competitions aimed at increasing the motivation of students and young people, we contribute to the development of qualified personnel.
