A forum and exhibition called “Business World – The Peak of 100 Years” was held in Türkiye

On November 21-23, 2023, the business forum and exhibition called “Business World-100 Years Summit 2” took place in the Organized Industrial Zone (OSTİM) of Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, organized by the Association of Small and Medium Business Entities and Clubs (KOBSKA) and the Türkiye Azerbaijan Friendship Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation (TADIV).

The summit, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, was held in order to contribute to the strengthening of economic relations between Azerbaijan and the brotherly country Türkiye and to the protection and increase of relations and cooperation between the SME entities of the two countries.

“Unico” CJSC participated as a special sponsor in the forum and exhibition, in which more than 30 companies attended.

In the end, a letter of thanks was presented to Chingiz Gurbanov, head of Finance and Legal Department of “Unico” CJSC.

Human resources staff of Unico CJSC at the career fair which held at Khazar University

On May 31, 2023, “Career Fair” was held at Khazar University. At the exhibition, opportunities to build a career in various directions were presented to final year students and graduates.

At the exhibition in which dozens of companies participated, the “Unico” stand, attracted the special interest of students and graduates, stood out for its constant number of visitors.

It is worth noting that “Unico”, which always considers the development of young people and prioritizes the training of educated and experienced specialists, conducts various experience programs for students and graduates every year, as well as participates in such exhibitions, and constantly supported our young people acquire work experience.

In addition, interns who stand out during the internship program and successfully complete the program are given the opportunity to work as junior specialists in the company.

“Chess tournament among construction industry companies” was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

We hold online meetings with our employees working in our projects in the regions and discuss their current working conditions, business activities, as well as further improvement of working conditions and making their activities more effective.

Nowadays, enough conditions have been created so that distances do not hinder the quality of work, and our team is taking advantage of these conditions to constantly take steps towards development.

Nordic Business Club held an event in Baku

On April 27, 2023, an event was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which was attended by Erling Schoensberg, Ambassador of Norway, Tobias Lorentzson, Ambassador of Sweden, Kristi Narinen, Ambassador of Finland, Danny Annan, Ambassador of Denmark, Ramil Guliyev, Regional Business Development Manager of ASSA ABLOY, Kamil Huseynov, Director of Human Resources at Unico Group of Companies, a premium partner of ASSA ABLOY in the region, Emin Gasimov, Assistant to the Director and representatives of various companies, including those of Scandinavian origin and those with business relations with them.

The event focused on regional and international business opportunities. Unico representatives shared their success story of the distribution partnership with ASSA ABLOY and the development of business in Kazakhstan, including the opening of two offices in Astana and Almaty and a representative office in Uzbekistan.

During the event, speeches were made about the idea of the Nordic Business Club and its activities in Azerbaijan. Discussions were held based on ideas and opinions about the next steps. Finally, the event concluded with a networking session.

The Nordic Business Club aims to bring together companies of Nordic origin or affiliation, represented or residing in Azerbaijan, to facilitate communication and build a social and business network in the regional business environment.

The Team of “Unico” CJSC took part in the Career Exhibition

On April 04, the HR team of “Unico” took part in the “Career Exhibition” organized by the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. The aim of the exhibition was to offer career opportunities in various fields for #graduates and 4th-year students.

More than 80 companies participated in the exhibition. The stand of “Unico” was noticed with particular interest by students, graduates, and distinguished guests.

It is worth mentioning that “Unico”, has always focused on the development of competent and experienced professionals, and has always supported our youth with gaining work experience by participating in such exhibitions, and holding various internship programs. In addition, interns who have distinguished themselves during the internship program and successfully completed the program have been given the opportunity to work in the company as junior specialists.
